They are predicting more snow for the east coast. Seriously, I can’t take much more of my Uggs (which are definitely in no means snow boots, but the closest I’ll get to them) and my 15 lb winter coat. Thank God I’ll be sipping on blended beverages on the beaches of Mexico in less than 2 weeks, that is if another “snowpocolypse” doesn’t come and delay my flight to bliss.
Here’s a little video that will get you all pumped for June. At least Miami Fashion Week was good for something…
What’s everyone doing for spring break?? If you’re staying in town, my advice is to start shopping for spring/summer — watch some of the fashion shows from last week and see what the experts are predicting as the hottest trends. Most stores already have their spring/summer lines out, and trust me, it’ll bring your spirits up!
The day when God comes down from the Heavens and hands me a coveted ticket to a tent in Bryant Park will be the happiest day of my life. Unfortunately, that day has not yet come (although it was supposed to this week..sad face.) So as a reasonable substitute, I’ve been spending hours a day on Style.com checking out all the collections.
Conclusion: Dying for Tracy Reese. How bad-ass do these models look?! I can imagine them struting down in their 6-inches to Beyonce’s Diva, which I will now play on my iTunes (note the last song I was playing was “Defying Gravity” from Glee — not as fitting.)
Of course Diane Von Furstenberg’s fall 2010 ready-to-wear line is outstanding. Not to mention that her prints are always spot on (no pun intended.) I will be finding ALL of these sweaters and purchasing them.

A brilliant designer.
You will be missed.
My newest obsession:
Coco and Breezy sunglasses.
They are like those goggles we used to wear in chemistry class. Add some studs and voila! Perfection.
And the prices aren’t too bad either ($55). I would try to DIY them but I was told that I might get glue everywhere and they may look like a 5th grader’s art project.
Coco and Breezy (Corianna and Brianna – twin sisters actually) hand make them all.
Haven’t seen anyone in Philly yet with a pair – incentive to buy. Plus I need some stunner shades for Cancun!!
oh no, no, no, no, NO! What the hell is this? This is what we call “mixing-too-many-trends-and-creating-one-big-hot-mess.” We’ve got a bunch of things going on here in this Carmen Webber thing (I call it a thing because I’m not sure what else to call it): sequins, metallic, jumpsuit, harem pants, leggings….it’s all…bad. Mayisha (who?), not a good look. Hasn’t Ford Models taught you anything? Maybe, like, your first big red carpet should be a BANG not a BUST. But hey, at least her nips are covered…that’s more than we can say for a lot of other celebs.

topstich boutique in old city is as close to heaven as i’ll ever get. their jewelry and vintage collections are spot on. and ive been dying for a pair of these FLEATHERS by Linda Smyth earrings since we featured them in the Sun-Ra photoshoot for 215mag. a part of me wants to try and “diy” them, another part of me wants to pay Linda the $44 for her genius.
